Stamina 4755 Magnetic Recumbent Bike With Heart Rate Monitor!! Dh and I talked it over about joining curves. I really can't afford the membership fee. Then its $30 a month, plus I have to drive 35 miles one way each time I go. Its going to cost a fortune. When we were in Wally world the other night. I seen this item. I have worked out on them before(at the hotel I worked at). I loved it! So we agreed to get me one of these. WOO HOO!

I havent seen that one. I am about to buy a bike though! I want one I can really go someone on! I have had stationary ones before... I wont use it for some reason! I'm not sure about buying one at walmart though. I think maybe I should go to a specialty store because of my size. I am 6 ft tall and weigh almost 300 lbs. I am so upset with myself... I had gotten down to 260! I let myself go while having trouble at home. I would get upset at what HE was doing and eat! I didnt hurt anyone but myself in the process! Anybody have any suggestions about bicycles??? I am all EARS! Okay, that's a lie! I am ALL BUTT!!! :lol banner: HELP!

wow! they have those at my gym- they're really cool! I like how you can work out for a long time on them. cindyloo...most of these are pretty adjustable for height- they take into account that many people are 6' and taller. Your weight shouldn't matter, other than you want to make sure it's a stable piece of equipment.
Rachel- I'm trying to work out more from home, too. my membership is up for remewal and I'm thinking $38/month plus gas, plus driving time, I could do better on my own...IF I keep myself accountable! I have a friend who has home equipment and she says that she makes herself get on for 5 minutes a day- then she usually says, well I may as well go for 15 minutes, then she'll just go ahead and get that 30 minute workout in! she says it's all about just getting on the thing- and not hanging clothes from it! :spin:
I can't wait to hear what you think of your new toy!

Thanks! We are going to go get it this weekend. I can't wait! And Cindy I am 5'8 and close to what you weigh. I have never had a problem on these machines. :)
Rachel, I love my recumbent (when I actually use it ;) ). They are so darn comfy.
