Who has a bunch of UFO's (UnFinished Objects) stashed around the house? I recently sorted through a bunch of stuff and this is my list:

1. An Old World Santa cross stitch stocking that I started for my father (1/4 done)

2. A birds and bugs cross stitch sampler that I started for my DD's nursery (done but not framed)

3. A Santa face knit stocking for DS (3/4 done)

4. A knit triangle scarf for DH's nana (just ripped it out because it's too short and I ran out of yarn, need to start over and add a border)

5. A mini "ABC" scrapbook for each grandmother with photos of my DS (about 1/4 done)

6. A "Happy Thanksgiving" embroidered table runner (1/10 done)

My goal for myself for the summer is to try to finish as many of these projects as possible before I start anything else. I figure that I have alread spend money and time on these, so it would be a frugal use of my time and money to finish them before I go and start anything else.

Anyone else want to join me cleaning out the craft closet? I would love to know who else has UFO's lying around.

The only real unfinished project I have is finishing my basement. It always seems to dirty so in the next few weeks I am going to buckle down and get it CLEAN!

- A white living room chair with a broken leg.

-My vanity stool, with a broken leg.

-Two dining room chairs we just got for free, with the backs missing.

These are actually exciting for me, as I have wanted to start some furniture refurbishment lately. :) The four dining room chairs need new fabric as well. :)

7. Yarn to make two more triangle scarves one for MIL and one for SIL (not even started)

8. 12 Days of Christmas cross stitch Napkins (have the napkins and the floss, need to buy some waste canvas)

9. Mother Daughter aprons (daughter apron is done, mothers needs the straps sewn on )

My house is full of unfinished quilts. I love the creativity of putting the tops together but then they sit forever. I do have several in different stages of being quilted - some by hand and the rest machined.

That's the way I am with cross stitch. I love to do them, but hate to finish them. Apparently, I am that way with a lot of things, which is why I am in this state. Hence, the UFO list and my committment to finishing these projects before starting any new ones.

That's part of the reason why I am making a list. I know I have alot and I need to finish them before I start anything new, or else I feel guilty that I spent all that money on supplies and time on the project and have nothing to show for it. I am currently working on the triangle scarf and am about half way done with the knitting part, and I bought the eyelash yarn to crochet the edging on it, maybe this weekend I will finish.
