I don't get it. I seriously don't. I realize, I sound quite silly saying that I don't "get" dish soap :giggle: but I really don't get the appeal of this soap.

Apparently the concept is you take a damp sponge and put the foaming soap directly on it, then 'wash' the dish with minimal water. I don't like it. I like using water -- when there's 'stuff' on the dish, it gets on the sponge and then I have to turn back on the water, rinse sponge, then apply soap again and go back to the dish. Seems silly to me.

Also strange, in little fine print near the bottom, it says "antibacterial hand soap." So is it supposed to double or is it really foaming hand soap at heart? Because that's what we'll be using it for, even though the "Citrus Kick" scent smells like oranges gone wrong to my nose. :rotflol: I'm glad I only paid like 50 cents for it on sale with a coupon.

I was curious about that when they show the commercials with her washing all the greasy dishes. Ewwww...rinse some gunk out before you start on the next dish, or they'll never get clean!

I don't get it either. I'm thinking a man must have invented the concept:smiling:

I use the pump for this. I put enough regular Dawn in the pump and fill the rest with water. The bottle of dish soap lasts a really long time (I think I've been using the same bottle for about 3 months and it is only half gone). Granted I wash most of my dishes in the dushwasher, but it is great for dishes in the sink when you are only washing a few. I end up doing that several times a day (cups and such). Oh and I use water :giggle: I also use it sometimes when I a=m filling the sink. About five pumps is enought to fill the sink.

i bought a bottle of the foam with a coupon to get the foaming pump. it's cheaper than buying a foaming pump from pampered chef. i put regular liquid soap in it then add water to it to thin it out. the kids use less soap using the foaming pump and it hold more than the dial foaming pump. but yeah as far as how dawn intends you to use it, i think it's a goofy idea.

I agree, When I saw the commercial my first thought was, 'eeww, Who would use the same gloppy sponge on the next dish?" I am a full sink full of sudsy water gal too.

I like the idea of using the pump for hand soap though! I may be looking for a coupon now!

Oh that sounds right! My dh hasn't done the dishes very many times but when he has there is hardly any water in the sink and when I wash them the sink is almost full :smiling:
