WHile shopping the outlets in Gettysburg today I ran across Emamelware popcorn bowls.. They are really old fashioned looking and of course say popcorn. I paid 5.95 a piece for them and they are good sized. I am going to fill each of them with microwave popcorn, movie theater candy..and anything else I can find movie related. I really cant do the movie rental coupons because both people rent from Dish only.. So maybe small bottles of soda. I think I can do both bowls for $10 a piece and will give on to my BIL and SIL and one for My SIL's sister and her husband. So 2 more people off my list. I also found the ornaments I want to give my own kids for their stockings this year at this store.. so that is also out of the way!

That's a great idea, prmom! I have another variation to add.

Last year I picked up a large plastic chip bowl for a friend that loves online poker. It was white and decorated round the edges with hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs. I added a huge bag of tortillas, some fancy salsa, two packs of playing cards (thinking games night here) and a lighter that I'd seen, one of those Zippo-type flip top ones that had aces on it, plus a box of casino chips. There was a few other wee things that I can't recall now, but it was all put together from stuff I'd picked up at discount stores and he was tickled pink with it! Wrapped it all up with everything displayed nicely in the bowl and voila! Probably worked out about ten bucks all together and it looked fantastic. I think I was just about as pleased with it as he was, ha! :)

I have done the movie night gift set several times for teachers and sport coaches . The day after thanksgiving there are always a few stores that offer super cheap dvds to finish it off!
