What to do.....What to do....

We moved with our cats. We aren't sure what to do with them over Christmas Break (4 weeks). We'd like to leave them in our apartment and get someone to come check on them and change their litter box....do you think they'd be ok? I'm even willing to get like 6 litter boxes and litter to go for 4 weeks....I don't want to board them because they'll flip out I'm sure....they're crazy anyway.....I'm going to post a note at our playgroup that I take my son to....maybe I'll get someone there to do it.

I think they would probably be okay, especially if you have somebody coming in to clean the litter and make sure they have food and water. Cats are very independent animals. Have you ever left them alone before? How did they react? I used to have a cat that would be fine for a few days, but then she would get angry, and pee on anything of mine (specifically mine, not anybody else's stuff).

With cats, you are best to have someone come in and take care of them while you are gone. They do not do well with changes in their territory. What my SIL does is leave treats that they really like and a special toy that they really enjoy for me to use when I go to take care of her cats when she is gone. Hope you can find someone that will be able to do that for you!
