I just found out (frugal blue light special :police:) that if you take a potato and cut it into four pieces and plant it into the ground or four large potters, you'll get potato plants growing and get a whole bunch of your own potatoes!!! Oh, yeah, gonna be planting potatoes come February. -->That's when spring starts in Florida.

Someone sent me an email that showed a picture of gutters being used as gardens and I though 'woo-hoo!'. (I tried to attach a picture but it wouldn't let me) My problem with gardening, at least my conclusion, is that my garden isn't receiving enough sunlight. My backyard has numerous trees and the only place that isn't shaded is my deck. And I have a wall that gets sun most of the day beside the deck. I'm going to ask DH if he would put up some. I was thinking PVC gutters would be good because they wouldn't rust. ]]>
