Crochetqueen

Just wanted to let you know you're not alone. My dd has been the same way for about 3years. She doesn't "like" her dad and I unless there's somethin in it for her or it's convenient for her. She was in honors classes until her jr year in high school at which time she chose to drop the honors classes. She's not enrolled in college and dh got her a job she really likes without so much as a sincere thank you. She left a couple of days before she turned 18 (about 2 months ago) and couldn't even make the time for us to have her a birthday party but still wanted to know a week later why we hadn't gotten her anything for her birthday. But we did have her a birthday gift....she just couldn't seem to find the time to come home and get it. She is living with my mother who caters to and I think somethimes encourages her irresponsibility (as sad as it is to say my mother is just about as irresponsible) yet my mother wants to call me to complain. DD does call from time to time when she needs contacts, is sick, needs a little money because she's blown her paycheck and it's not payday yet. I know that your heart is breaking and I'm so sorry. Hope things get better on your end!!!
