I have used the wash clothes for cleaning for years and I grew up with a kitchen at the table that was passed around instead of napkins.

I also use the lemons from my friends tree and salt...

I grew up with a hard water spot on our sink. My mother would clean it with straight vinagar every month. I have seen her use 1/2 a lemon with some salt.

You could give that a try.
