Are you using store bought dye or good old fashioned food coloring?

Actually, we aren't dying eggs this year. My twins think that they are too old for it and my girls hate to have the colored fingers for church service. We bought extra plastic eggs and are filling them with candy, stickers, ect.

We always dye ours with good old foodcoloring (with the hot water and vinegar) in old coffee cups JUST like I did as a kid. Makes me feel young again.

I always get the Paas kits on clearance after Easter and hold them until next year. We colored them yesterday.

When I cleaned my basement I found an unused egg coloring kit--no clue how or why it was down there. I am not sure how old it is, but I'm going to give it a whirl!

I got some on clearance last year, so we will be using those.

My husband has the best scavenger hunt every year. It takes him like 5 hours to set up. The kids love it though.
