DD3 had her trimester awards yesterday and she got Perfect Attendance, Honor Roll and Student of the Month! Her teacher said some really nice things about her and praised her for being a good friend and helper and also said that a paper she did was excellent and made a big deal of her printing it, something that isn't required right now, but dd3 wanted it to look really nice, she took her time and it turned out great! She was so proud of herself and has set a goal of getting straight A's next trimester! I am a blessed and proud mama!

It's so nice when teachers show appreciation for the hard works that kids do. It makes them want to keep doing it. And that leads to good things when they get older...like scholarships.
