    Default Community Garden

I can grown just about anything you cannot eat in my garden. I have only a small section where there's sunlight all day and on my deck. I do container gardening and have had some success.

I spoke with a co-worker about gardens and local farms, etc. today and I reminded myself that there was supposed to be a community garden starting near where I live. I went online and saw, OMG!!!, it's already open and they're going to opening a new section of it too. It's right behind where my girls went to elementary school and about a three minute drive from my house.

I'm going to contact them to make sure I can garden there (it's officially in another city from me) and see if I can get a small plot. If not, even working there and helping would be wonderful for me.

I did find out that anyone can join this community garden so I'm going there on Saturday to check it out.
