we attended a funeral of one of dh's friends today

2/7 I'm a little behind!!!

I:

Got up and went to work
Ran home to pick up Daddy's checkbook and papers I would need. Then went to the fill out paper work at the Psychiatrists office for Daddy--trying to get him legally declared incompetent. It will help us in so many ways!!
Ran by my brothers to pick up some mail and go over Daddy's homeowner policy--he had been over insured and we got 2 new quotes.
Home to call the pharmacy because someone elses payment had been applied to his account. Got that corrected
DH home and after all that running around he took me to get a salad before heading to the grocery store--on a NORMAL day I would have already been home and had everythign put away AND would be fixing supper by then.
Home at 7:45
Put all the groceries away
Brought my checkbook up to date and entered some things for payment.
FINALLY got situated around 8:40!! It was one LONG day!

2/14 Happy Valentine's Day AND Happy 1/2 Birthday to DS. He is 19 1/2


Up/morning routine/work
Dentist appointments for DH and myself at 3:15. Time to get our teeth cleaned.
Walk (we will get to walk early since DH won't be going back to work after out appointment)
Supper
Relaxing evening at home
Bedtime Routine

Dr appt at 8
Home to dust piano and clean half bath
Call in laws...I need a piano sitter...lol
1 pm piano tuner comes
2:30 hopefully he's done or I found someone to sit with him....off to get dd.
Taking dd and friends to go see safe haven.
Home for dinner, homework and hopefully to relax.

Get dd off to school
Make meatballs and homemade Mac and cheese for trip (that'll be 2 dinners in)
Pick up cat food at vet
Dare I get a nap today? That would be wonderful. But doubtful.

Tonight there is nothing scheduled....so maybe chill and relax

We're under a winter storm warning today -- I'll try to sleep some, but I'm anticipating losing power, so I'll have to be up to get the generator running, etc. Otherwise, normal stuff -- as far as the weather/power will alllow. If we can't do anything else, I'll knit, and read.

I always try to have a project to do during power outages.....reorganize a forgotten closet, paint a wall, and always....a book to read.

DH off early--he is going to stop and check on my Dad on his way to his parents.
I will clean house and catch up laundry

Supper when he gets home (should be around 6:30--7 at the latest
