Default Picking Bean

If the rain holds out till this evening, we're picking beans. I walked thru my patch last night and they are ready. Hubby guessed that I would have 5 bushel off the first pickings and there will be another picking later on in the season. Thats alot of beans!

We planted 2 lbs. of beans. I ended up with about 40 quarts canned and we ate several huge crockpot fulls. Over this past weekend, I cleaned out the garden and picked 3 Walmart bags full and gave them away. I don't care if I see green beans for a WHOLE YEAR! LOL!
