What does everyone think about a Book Swap? I haven't figured out all the details, just brainstorming ideas. Maybe we could post a list of books we were willing to swap. If someone had one you were interested in you could swap one of yours for one of theirs?? I don't know....any ideas. What do you guys think? I was thinking it could be away to save money and still get "new to you books". Postage would be a downfall...hmmm. Thoughts? Imput? Ideas?
Just and idea...it may not work out. ![]()

You should look into www.paperbackswap.com
It's awesome and free (well you pay media mail shipping for the books) I use it to get my dh books to travel with. He's afraid to take library books in case he loses them but still loves to read on the plane. He'll read about 2 books a trip...and new books cost a fortune. With paperbackswap, you list all the books you want to swap, if someone picks one of your books...you mail it and get a credit for 1 book when they receive it. Then you can pick someone else's book with your credit. I typically have 20-25 credits on hand and mail about 2 books a week. Liz |
