Default Less fat: 1/3 cream cheese

Has anyone here tried the 1/3 less fat cream cheese from Philadelphia Cream Cheese yet?

I don't do "reduced fat" products- they usually have fillers and other weird ingredients. I think it's better to eat real food in moderation and be active.

I've had that and the fat free version. I've used it them for a taco dip and it tasted wonderful. Actually, that's about the only kind I use and I've never had a problem with it.

Was going to say the same thing, my doctor actually told me that it is much healthier for you that way.

I'm with Mara. I try to eat foods that don't have fillers and other weird ingredients.

I like the garden veggie 1/3 less fat flavor a lot myself. They actually did a blind taste test where people rated the 1/3 was as rich and creamy as the regular version.

I have tried Neufatchel cheese before, which is 1/3 the fat as cream cheese - is that what you are talking about? It tastes exactly like cream cheese to me, but I have gone back to cream cheese for health's sake. Same reasons for choosing cream cheese as marabeth!

I was just reading something the other day about the different gums and fillers being used- the food industry says they use these ingredients to "improve mouthfeel" -ew!
I like the neufatchel cheese, too, but I don't get it often- we watch our dairy because ds1 and I tend to get congested from dairy.
I really like oats for breakfast- they keep my energy up and I don't get hungry for awhile.
