Is your cat an inside or inside/outside cat? Just wondering. Cats are different than dogs. They don't usually get rabies or heart worm and things like that. It will not be "to late" if you need to wait a month or so. In Indiana, we have to have our animals vaccinated every year, but the rabies vaccine really doesn't have to be done but every 3 years. That is from a vet's expertise and some states have their laws written that way too.

I read a little and New York does accept the three year shot, so you probably want to make sure you get that second shot so you won't have to take her for a couple years. Her being an inside kitty, you won't have to worry so much about someone asking you for her records, but you never know if she might happen to get out or something.
