I tried a frugal recipe - the chicken with mushroom soup and onion dip. I liked it, but the boys were so-so about it.

I LOVED using the crockpot; I'll just keep trying frugal recipes until I hit on one they like!

My husband is coming home tonight (he works and stays in a hotel during the week) and I am making a fresh salad and chicken picata. I found the recipe on the pioneer woman website. There are lots of good recipes!
