Homeschool ResourcesI have 5 boys that range in age from 2 years to 11 years. We started homeschooling my oldest when he was in preschool so we have been doing this for 7 years now. It is amazing how fast the time goes by. I remember when I first started how overwhelmed I felt by the whole concept of homeschooling - I really didn't know where to begin! I didn't know many people who homeschooled their children and was basically starting from the beginning on my own. If you are in the same position I want you to know you are not alone! There are so many wonderful resources out there for you. The Internet is filled with sites that are dedicated to homeschooling, and local homeschool support groups can offer you the guidance and assurance that you need as you begin this incredible journey with your children. Whether you are a new
homeschooler or a seasoned pro, I would like to invite
you to visit our homeschool section on our Frugal Mom Message Board. You will
find a really wonderful group of ladies who love homeschooling and love their
kids - you will be warmly welcomed! Here's the Homeschool
Message Board link!
What a great idea! I came across this curriculum and wanted to share it with you - this is such a wonderful idea. I'll start by saying that if you are able to attend a Homeschool Curriculum Fair in your area by all means do. I have attended the Central Florida Homeschool Convention for the past 5 years and it is an incredible resource. I am able to look at so many different types of curriculum at one time and make a decision that will be best for my children. But, if you are not able to attend a fair and you do not know what you want to purchase for your children I would like to recommend to you: "The Curriculum-Fair-In-A-Box is your private preview of new curriculums. It is designed to help you find the right program and style for you and your child.
