A few days ago I made a batch of these sliders and they were a huge hit with the kids. Keep them on hand for a quick and easy snack, lunch or dinner! If you want to spice them up even more, try substituting sliced banana peppers for the pickles.
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Kraft Horseradish sauce
- 1 1/2 – 2 teaspoons salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 packages Hawaiian bread
- 72 dill pickles slices
In a skillet brown the ground beef and the onions until ground beef is no longer pink. Set aside to cool.
Remove the Hawaiian rolls from package. Using a serrated knife, slice the rolls in half.
Spread the beef mixture on the bottom half of the rolls and top each piece with 2 pickles.
Cover the beef layer with the top of the rolls, return to original tray, wrap well with aluminum foil and freeze. You can also freeze individual sliders. Microwave frozen sliders, 2 at a time for 60 seconds.
