Earn Income with a Website:
1. Affiliate Marketing
When I first gave my family and friends the address to FrugalMom.net the
first question almost everyone asked was, "Do you make money with
it?" My reply was YES! I then asked them if they knew how, but
no one knew how I made money. The way that I earn money with my website is
called Affiliate Marketing.
My goal in
designing my website was simple: I wanted a site that would do
three things:
- Help moms learn ways to save money,
- Teach moms ways and ideas to earn money from home, and
- Earn money for my family.
Affiliate Marketing is a wonderful way to help
people by giving them the products they need on your website. The ways it
works is quite simple: you put up special links on your website from a
merchant for a particular product. Then when a visitor comes to your
website and clicks through your link, visits the merchants site and makes a
purchase, you earn a commission. What I like best about affiliate marketing is
the start up cost is very, very low.

2. Sell your own Product
Another way that I have found to earn money with a website is
to sell a product. With affiliate marketing you do not have the investment
of carrying products in your home. However, if you are going to buy wholesale and
resell to your website visitors, you will need to invest in, and stock products.
The benefit to this route is, you make more money per sale.

Brands to find a product that I wanted to sell. We are homeschoolers
so I decided upon homeschool products. If you are wondering how to find which product to sell, you
will need to find a wholesaler. Then you will next decide if you want to
dropship the product, or if you will stock the product in your home. To
